Community-led climate and health action
With support from Global Fund for Women, Inspire & Konnect organized a Climate and Menstrual Justice Awareness Event in Mmuock Leteh, Wabane Subdivision, Lebialem Division.
The event brought together more than 100 young people for climate justice discussions, menstrual justice sessions, reusable pad production training, eco-friendly detergent production, free medical consultations, and a farm produce exhibition.
Youth groups formed for long-term impact
The Second Deputy Mayor of Wabane Council described the initiative as rich, timely, and deeply needed. The event also led to the formation of two youth farming groups: Dynamic Young Women of Mmuock Leteh and The Resilient Youth Farming Group.
Both groups continue to receive mentorship and monitoring support as they build sustainable farming pathways in their community.
